I’m sorry it had to be this way.
Ever since the infamous adult content ban was announced, the mere mention of Tumblr has given me anxiety over its future. And my future on this blog. I made a vow that I’d only leave Tumblr once I got bored with it or graduated college, but I’ve considered taking a hiatus for the past few weeks.
Now that the colors are brighter and with me finding no way to revert it, I decided that this was it: I’m taking a break from this blog, effective immediately.
Now, I don’t mean to sound bitter about this. I’ve liked Tumblr for a long time now. My blog is extremely healthy. But every day, I’ve had a lingering fear scrolling through my dashboard. With the negative response to everything Staff has done in the past few months and even today, I decided that it was best to let my anxiety from this website die out.
Like I said in the title, I’m sorry that I’m leaving all of you for now. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be back, so I’m leaving my blog open for the world to see. I love you guys, and I want to thank you for following me on my strange 28-month journey through Hell-In-Navy-Blue. I do have a Twitter account, BTW, though I haven’t touched it since May 2018 and I don’t plan on tweeting again soon (twitter.com/KnutterBife). Until next time, friends.
